Welcome to the Safehaus and the HausKeys Project homepage! This Open Source project focuses on developing and supporting users of the HausKeys Application.

What is the HausKeys Application?

HausKeys is a mobile J2ME application which generates single use passwords on most Java enabled cell phones and PDAs. It works in conjunction with the HausServer to enable strong authentication using a cellular token. Here is a list of Supported Devices.

How is the HausKeys Application used?

HausKeys allows your phone or PDA to generate a 6-digit One Time Password (OTP) for any number of user accounts. When you have to login to an account, the generate password is used in place of a statically assigned password.

What does the HausKeys Application look like?

To the left you can see one of the HausKeys Application screens running on the Blackberry 7290. There are a few screens to the application. This one displays the generated output with the Safehaus Softfob. The 6-digit pin in the center is the generated OTP.
