Overview
This document describes how configure LDAP Connector in MailMarshal for retrieving user groups information from Microsoft SQL Server using Penrose Server as an LDAP gateway. This document assumes that Penrose Server has been configured properly to map user groups information from Microsoft SQL Server.
Creating LDAP Connector
In MailMarshal Configurator, go to Configurator Root -> MailMarshal Configurator -> Policy Elements -> Connectors. Click New Connector to start the wizard.

Click Next to continue

Select Generic LDAP Server from the drop-down list, then click Next to continue.

Enter the connection parameters for Penrose Server. In this particular configuration we are using the following parameters:
- Server name: 192.168.0.70
- Server port: 10389
- Version: 3
- User Name: uid=admin,ou=system
- Password: secret
Click Next to continue. 
Enter the search root. In this particular configuration we are using "dc=Example,dc=com". Click Next to continue.

Enter the information about the LDAP groups in Penrose Server. In this particular configuration we are using the default values provided by MailMarshal. Click Next to continue.

Enter the information about the LDAP users in Penrose Server. In this particular configuration we are using the default values provided by MailMarshal. Click Next to continue.

Specify the reload schedule. In this particular configuration we will reload manually. Click Next to continue.

Enter a name for the new connector, then click Next to continue.

Verify the information, then click Finish. The new connector will appear in the list of Connectors.
