apacheds.xml

The apacheds.xml is no longer used, you can remove it from the conf directory. Schemas, LDAP ports, partitions, admin DN and password configurations have been moved to server.xml.

mx4j.xml

The mx4j.xml is no longer used, you can remove it from the conf directory. The JMX ports configurations have been moved to server.xml.

log4j.properties

The log4j.properties is no longer required, but you can still use it to configure custom logger. Please see Logging.

server.xml

The server.xml has a new format. Please see server.xml.

sources.xml

The sources.xml has been split into two files. The connection definitions are now stored in connections.xml. The source definitions remain in sources.xml. Each source definition now contains a reference to the connection to which it belongs.

mapping.xml

The source mappings in mapping.xml do not require <connection-name> tags anymore, you can just remove them. See Entry Mappings.

Removing old library files

Remove the following files from the lib directory:
