Introduction

Penrose Server can be installed as a Windows service.

Installing/Uninstalling Penrose Service

To install Penrose Service execute PENROSE_SERVER_HOME/bin/install-penrose-service.bat.
To uninstall Penrose Service execute PENROSE_SERVER_HOME/bin/uninstall-penrose-service.bat.

Starting/Stopping Penrose Service

You can start/stop Penrose Service from Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services.

From command line you can issue the following commands:

net start "<service name>"
net stop "<service name>"

See Windows Services for the actual service name.

Log File

When running as a service, the output will be stored in PENROSE_SERVER_HOME/var/penrose.out.
