Configuring Velo Server

Following are the minimal instructions how to configure Velo server quickly in order to get started:

Edit global configuration properties

On the top menu, choose Misc->Configuration Properties and wait for the configuration parameters to appear

Modify email server parameters

Velo heavily using emails in order to inform personals (administrators, operators, approvers notifications, etc...) in many processes and events,

Follow these directions in order to set the email parameters correctly:

1. Navigate to the 'email configuration' title
2. under this title set the following settings:

<host>your email server IP or host name</host>
<port>your email server port - This should probably be port 25)</port>

3. under the email-conf tag, change recipients email addresses as follows:

<admin-email-address>The administrator e-mail address of the system</admin-email-address>
<system-sender-address>The 'from' e-mail address velo uses when sending emails</system-sender-address>
<operator-email-address>The e-mail address of the operator of the system</operator-email-address>

Extra Configuration Settings

The above configuration settings are the most critical in order to get started,
You can browse and modify other parameters in the configuration,

It is recommended to read first and understand system parameters in [Velo Server Configuration Parameters] page (available also as a part of the offline Installation Guide)
